In addition, sweating without swimwear is also healthier, as the clothing prevents the sweat from evaporating from the skin.

What are the opening hours of the pool area?

Yes, the hotel’s wellness area in the lower ground floor is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. It includes a pool, whirlpool, modern fitness room, and an oriental-style relaxation lounge.

Is the pool area accessible for guests with limited mobility?

Our Rugard Royal Spa, including the pool area, is located on the lower ground floor and can only be reached via a small staircase with three steps. Unfortunately, there is no step-free access to the spa.

From what age are children allowed in the pool area?

We are delighted to welcome you and your children to our hotel. Please note that the pool area is a place of relaxation. For safety reasons, children under the age of twelve may only enter the wellness area when accompanied by their parents. Infants who are not yet potty-trained may use the wellness area and especially the pool only while wearing swim diapers.

Is there anything to consider regarding swimwear?

Please wear bathing shoes in the bathing area due to the risk of slipping.

Currently, we do not offer breakfast service in the room. However, we warmly invite you to enjoy our varied breakfast buffet in the restaurant. There you will find a wide selection of fresh dishes and beverages that leave nothing to be desired.

We offer childcare in our kidsclub (open at Easter, Christmas and New Year's Eve 2025) between the Rugard Thermal Strandhotel and the Arkona Strandhotel. By the way: If you need an additional baby crib, please ask at our reception.

Are pets allowed in the Arkona Strandresidenzen?

Pets are also more than welcome to stay with us. We take the right to charge a fee per day/pet. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, but you are welcome to use the tables in the bar area. Please note that a tourist tax of € 2 per day and animal will be charged for your dogs.

Are there golf courses near the Arkona Strandresidenzen?

Our guests can play free of charge on the 18-hole golf course at Schloss Karnitz. It is located about 26 km from our hotel and offers a beautiful setting for golf enthusiasts.
